Meeting dates:  First Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm, at the Guinda Fire Station.

The Capay Valley Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is a support group for the Fire Department.  We prepare meals or refreshments for long-term fire calls, hold fundraisers for new equipment, and try to assist in keeping a strong community atmosphere.

Hospital Supplies:  The Capay Valley Fire Department Auxiliary has various hospital supply items available to be loaned free of charge for use by residents within the boundaries of the Fire Department.  We also now have table and chair rentals within the Community. If you wish to borrow or rent any of these items, please call Lynn at 796-3770 or Debbie Carson at 796-3807 (home) or 796-4152 (Rumsey P.O.) to make arrangements.

The Auxiliary gladly accepts donations of functional used hospital equipment for this purpose.

Activities:

1. Community breakfasts for fun & fellowship 
   
2. Help with care and upkeep of firestation
   
3. We sell popcorn, badges, buttons, hats, and t-shirts at the February Almond Festival (see Events Page)
   
4. We organize a July 4th Community Potluck and fireworks display
   
5. Our Rummage Sale is held each year Labor Day weekend at the Guinda Firehouse
   
6. Take part in the Homecoming Parade at the Esparto High
   
7. We hold a New Year's Eve Dance/Party
   
8. Support various local programs (D.A.R.E., Sober Grad Night, Every 15 Minutes)
