Capay Fruits and Vegetables is a second-generation organic family farm founded by Kathleen Barsotti in 1976 and now owned by Kathleen's four sons; the farm currently operates 240 acres just west of the town of Capay.

The unique climate and soil offered by the Capay Valley allows us to produce the finest quality fruits and vegetables - all grown organically. The cool crisp winters produce several types of citrus, leeks, kale, chard, winter squash, and many other winter greens. The intense Capay summers raise kissed-by-the-sun heirloom tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, melons, peaches, apples, figs, grapes, summer squash and green beans. Springtime brings life to strawberries and various cut flowers.

Farm Fresh to You is an organic produce delivery service that supplies its customers with quality, organically grown produce, delivered fresh from our fields directly to our customers' home or office.

The majority of produce is grown on our 240-acre organic farm - Capay Fruits and Vegetables, but our customers enjoy the benefits of receiving organic produce from different regions of California so that, regardless of what Mother Nature allows our farm to produce, our customers always receive an exciting and easy to use mixture of produce. Each box contains weekly recipes and farm news - keeping our customers in touch with the farm that raises their food.

Valued world wide for their luxurious fiber, Alpaca provide an exciting and enriching lifestyle. Derwydd Alpacas features Peruvian Suri and Huacaya breeding stock offering alpacas for sale, stud service, boarding, and customer support. Visitors are welcome by appointment.

The Capay Valley's great "terroir" is created by our warm, dry summers with a long growing season. The soils are a mixture of clay, creek rock, and volcanic ash. All vineyard tasks are done by hand - including harvesting which is done at night to ensure cool fruit for the winemaker - Terri Strain.

Cache Canyon offers the least expensive rafting in California and the closest white water to the Bay Area - by hours. Our ranch is located in western Yolo County, California where the growing conditions are ideal for walnuts and almonds. We take pride in being the 7th generation Bloom family of farmers in the 2-mile wide Capay Valley. This pride is the drive that guides us through being the sole participants in the many facets of orchard management. Each time we plant, irrigate, prune, mow, fertilize, harvest, hull, and shell nuts; we have our customers' families in mind.
