If your New Year's resolution includes getting outdoors more, here is a wonderful opportunity to be outside and help beautify a county park! Community planting days are set for 10 a.m. to noon Monday, January 21st and Saturday January 26th, at Capay Open Space Park. The park is at 15603 County Road 85, north of Capay. Community members are invited to help the Cache Creek Conservancy and the RCD plant native plants at the park.
We need about 15 people to help us with this planting days. Contact Tanya Meyer at email@example.com if you or your group are interested in helping. Tools will be provided, and volunteers should wear appropriate clothing, closed-toed shoes, and bring their own water bottle. The planting days will happen in light rain, but it will be cancelled if it is raining heavily.
