The purpose of FFA is to develop leadership qualities through agriculture. Currently, there are approximately 250 FFA members at Esparto High School. All FFA members must enroll in an agriculture class. Charlie Abee was hired in July to join current teacher, Amber Charter. Mr. Abee graduated from Fresno State and is looking forward to bringing his expertise to the Esparto Agriculture Department.
The purpose of FFA Boosters is to support the students in the agricultural department. The committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at the Ag Department at Esparto High School. Julie Farnham is the president of the Booster Club. In the 2009-2010 school year, FFA Boosters raised $1800 to help support students in the Agricultural Department . Boosters will be at the Yolo County "Agciting" Fair August 18-22. We look forward to seeing you there!
